This was my first public exhibition. I had a long time interest in the mysterious creatures that inhabit the depths of the sea - a world that is so close, yet so far from our understanding. I did not intend to represent nature, but to merely reinterpret it, with the tools of composition, color, contrast, perspective, texture and movement. I also tried to incorporate a loose sense of narrative, to somehow -naively- tackle on the bigger issue of use and abuse of the world´s oceans.
