This is a small-scaled series, that was exhibited in 2013. The main theme is the celebration of women, and the aim is to evoke several attributes and virtues associated with them; such as: tenderness, expressiveness, humility, wisdom, strength, generosity, passion, compassion, empathy, inspiration; and above all: love. 

The layout is derived from traditional Italian Madonna portraits. It is a way of enshrining and elevating the subject to a nearly divine, heroic status. However the intention is not that of creating religious art, but rather to render an eclectic, urban and laic idealization of the female persona. The format allowed for an extensive amount of experimentation, with form, texture, color, composition and ornamentation.
