DEGREE PROJECT

The project is sited in Cali, Colombia, a metropolis split in halves: a rich and a poor side. In the borderland, between the two, architecture can take a series of incarnations, to mitigate the existing social and urban conflicts.

By creating a town center right in the area of tension and adding a program that attracts both social classes, there is hope for integration. As part of the program, housing is proposed, along with a building that acts as a curtain between worlds, commerce, and a religious program that puts all social classes at the same level.
